By this time students should start working on their portfolios, as there are several parts to it.
Each activity must include:
Title
Labelled Diagram (neatly drawn)
1 paragraph summary which describes the activity as well as what was learned/discovered.
By now most students will have completed:
- paper cup bridge
- making paper stronger
- 1m challenge
- bungee jump
Students who missed any activities must stay tuned to the blog as in two weeks there will be only 3 possible make-up sessions during lunch to come in and complete missed activities.
Dear Mr. Persaud,
ReplyDeleteI am having trouble locating new updates on your blogspot. For example, I cannot see anything about action figures. Please review where I should be looking, other than the top of the right column, and your calendar.
Thanks,
Chris McLeod

ReplyDeleteGood Evening Mr McLeod,
ReplyDeleteThe request for action figures was posted with the Scaffolding Video: http://bedfordroom16.blogspot.ca/2014/01/grade-7-science-video-and-update-on.html
I have an inquiry about the bungee jump-I know that we used string and elastics, but what were the precise amounts that we were allowed to use?
ReplyDeleteThanks, NZ
