Risky Catan

Students interested in playing some more risk/catan are invited to do so on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday during lunch.

Each game will be limited to only 3 players, to ensure enough time during the lunch period.

Afterschool Geology Simulation

...will be suspended for the remainder of this week, and shall recommence next week Tuesday, Wednesday.

Update to Newspaper Assignment

The advertisement for the Condo design company is not required for the final product (it is optional).

Newspapers must be completed by 1515 on 13 June 14.

Additional time on the computer is available Thursday and Friday morning, as well as Thursday and Friday at lunch.

Grade 7 Math Surface Area and Volume Homework

Measurement and Geometry: Polyhedra and Dilations 

Unit Objectives - The focus of this unit is to:

-          perform calculations to solve for volume and surface area of prisms and cylinders

-          develop techniques to enlarge and dilate images

-          develop sketching techniques in 2 and 3 dimensions

-          use ratios to make accurate scale drawings in 2 and 3 dimensions

As this is our final unit our assessment will be as follows:

Science Textbook Return

All textbooks for Grades 7 and 8 shall be returned between 16 and 19 June. Each student shall be checked off against a class list.
