Summary of Conversation with the Principal

Good Morning 7A,

Here is a review of the conversation we had with our Principal this morning:

Arrival Times: You are entitled to enter the school at 0840 and 1230 (10 minutes prior to the start of learning) so you may visit your locker.

Cell Phones: Cell phones may be only used before or after school, and during recess and lunch. Students are expected to only use the phones when required, and should conduct themselves responsibility during the learning day.

Teachers may allow students to use their phones in class in order to access a Wi-Fi network for research. This will be planned and announced in advance. This would be the only time.

Students who are not using their cell phones appropriately will simply be sent down to the office.

Lap Tops / Tablets: Students are permitted to use Laptops and Tablets during class time for note-taking and working on assignments. These devices are only permitted if they have a physical keyboard. Be sure to speak with your teacher prior to.

Students are ultimately responsible for the safety and security of their devices.

Recess and Lockers Visits: During the morning recess you may visit your lockers to change over your binders in preparation for Rotary in periods 3 and 4. As the weather is enjoyable, we are encouraging you to take a moment of fresh air rather than spending the entire recess by your lockers.
